It’s all about Jesus. Our methods may change, but our message will always stay the same. In everything we do, we point people to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We serve God from acceptance, not for acceptance. All of our work for God is done in response to what he has already done for us in Christ Jesus.
Scripture: Ephesians 5:1-2, 1 John 4:19, Colossians 3:1-4
3. Deep Dependency
Nothing gets done without His power. To accomplish the mission God has given us, we need the Holy Spirit’s power. We pray, we fast, and we give God the glory for what he does through us.
Scripture: Zechariah 4:6, John 15:5, Psalm 127:1
4. One Focused
We’re not going alone. As people whose lives have been changed by Jesus, we are laser-focused on inviting our ONE into a relationship with Him.
Scripture: Matthew 18:12-14, 1 Corinthians 9:19-23, Romans 10:14-15
5. Rooted in Scripture
The Bible gets the first and final word. Scripture is the ultimate source of authority in how we live and think about the world.
We leverage everything we have for the kingdom. Building God’s kingdom is a privilege, so we generously give of our time, talents, and treasure.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, Proverbs 19:17, 1 Peter 4:10-11
7. Lead With Love
Love is the heart behind everything we do. All of our interactions with one other and our community are marked by the radical, self-giving love of Christ.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 16:14, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, Matthew 22:39
8. Unity
We are SameTeam with other churches. South Florida won’t be transformed by one church, so we choose to complement, not compete with other churches in our region.
Scripture: John 17, Philippians 2:1-2, Ephesians 4:3-6
Statement of Faith
Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, made up of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament. It is a complete and unified witness to God’s redemptive acts. It is uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the supreme and final authority on all matters on which it speaks.
God
We believe that there is one God who is the sovereign Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three personalities are distinct yet equal.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. He who is true God became true man united in one Person forever. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. On the third day He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of God the Father, He now is our HighPriest and Mediator.
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit has come to glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts. He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior. Indwelling our hearts, He gives new life to us. The Holy Spirit desires to fill each believer with power to witness and imparts spiritual gifts for the edification of the Body and the work of ministry in the world. He instructs and guides us into all truth, and seals us for the day of redemption.
Salvation
We believe that being estranged from God and condemned by our sinfulness, our salvation is wholly dependent upon the work of God’s free grace. God credits His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and therebyjustifies them in His sight. Only those that are born of the Holy Spirit and receive Jesus Christ become children of God and heirs of eternal life.
Church
We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit are united together in the body of Christ. The Church finds her visible, yet imperfect, expression in local congregations where the Word of God is preached in its purity and the sacraments are administered in their integrity; where scriptural discipline is practiced, and where loving fellowship is maintained.
Christ's Return
We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to the earth—personally, visibly, and bodily to judge the living and the dead, and to consummate history and the eternal plan of God
